Non-Destructive Testing Laboratory

Through our strong equipment infrastructure, we contribute to the projects conducted by universities, public institutions and private sector on determination of; the structural material properties; the parameters of the dynamic behaviour with the help of in-situ or remote ambient vibration tests; three dimensional geometries and deformation monitoring; and dimension and distribution of structural cracks, of a variety of structures such as historical buildings, on which any destructive intervention is prohibited or bridges, buildings, towers and chimneys, which are impossible or very difficult to access due  to earthquake damage or other reasons.

Examples from our studies:

  • Assessment of the Dynamic Behaviour Parameters of the Buildings With 20 Floors and Higher Through Laser Vibrometry, Boğaziçi University
  • Determination of the Material Properties of the Minaret of Edirnekapı Mihrimah Sultan Mosque, General Directorate of Foundations, Istanbul Regional Directorate 1
  • Determination of the Material Properties, Deformations and Dynamic Behaviour Parameters of Minarets of the Sultanahmet Mosque, General Directorate of Foundations, Istanbul Regional Directorate 1
  • Determination of the Material Properties of the İmrahor Mosque, General Directorate of Foundations, Istanbul Regional Directorate 1
  • Long-term Monitoring of the Deformations of Hagia Sophia  Mosque through Laser Scanning, Ministry of Culture and Tourism
  • Long-term Monitoring of the Structural Deformations of Mihrimah Sultan Mosque through Laser Scanning, General Directorate of Foundations, Istanbul Regional Directorate 1
  • Long-term Monitoring of the Structural Deformations of Süleymaniye Mosque through Laser Scanning, General Directorate of Foundations, Istanbul Regional Directorate 1
  • Long-term Monitoring of the Structural Deformations of Fatih Mosque through Laser Scanning, General Directorate of Foundations, Istanbul Regional Directorate 1
